Neville High School Shooting, Lockdown lifted after active shooter reports in Monroe City Schools

Shooting at Neville High School Today: MONROE, La. ~ Earlier today, Thursday morning, September 22, 2022, all school in Monroe City were immediately put on lockdown after multiple Monroe Police Department Officers rushed down on scene after receiving an emergency notifications stating there was an active shooter or maybe a shooting incident at The Neville High School.

Later after The Monroe Police Department Officers confirmed that the notifications was just a mare rumor and it appears to be a hoax. All school were then lifted from the immediate lockdown after police certification.

“A call was placed to the Department that there was an active shooter at Neville High School. We are on scene and the call appears to be a Hoax. Parents please don’t come up to the school it is on lockdown. We are checking all Monroe City Schools at this time.” ~ Monroe PD stated on their official social media handles.
