Denver East High School Shooting, Denver police on scene after shooting threat at East High School

Shooting at Denver East High School Today: DENVER, CO. ~ The Denver Police Department officers and other agencies are responding to an active shooter/shooting threat reports at The Denver East High School, on Monday afternoon, September 19, 2022. Police confirmed that the entire school and its surrounding were immediately put on lockdown for security and safety measures.

Police reports according to The Denver Police Department officers revealed that the shooting threat reports has been unfounded at this point and there is no report of injuries reported. The area at 1600 City Park Esplanade, near Colfax and Josephine, in Denver, CO., is under lockdown as heavy police operation is currently ongoing in the areas while everyone are urged to find a secured shelter or better still totally avoid the area as investigation is ongoing at this time.

Authorities are attempting to discover what caused the incident and to get the situation under control. A thorough investigation is currently underway.
