Anthony Palmer Death – Obituary in Moderation: Anthony Palmer of, a former La Grande High School student, has sadly and unexpectedly passed away leaving family, closer relatives and other loved ones in total devastations and sadness. Family and friends were devastated when Anthony passed away.

Anthony studied and graduated from The La Grande High School just last years. We are sending our love and prayers to Anthony‘s family. Fatalitiesaroundme learnt about this sad occurrence through a publication made by The La Grande High School Athletics/Activities Page on their official social handles on Thursday, September 22, 2022, the statements read below;

Sadly, we were informed today of the death of a former La Grande High School student, Anthony Palmer, who graduated last year from LHS. We know that many of our students and staff worked closely with Anthony and developed friendships with him. We will miss him and know that this might be difficult.

A safe room with counselors has been set up at LHS, and we encourage students who are struggling with grief to use this support to quietly sit or talk or share their emotions. We encourage any students or staff who would like to, to sign cards placed around the building, which we hope to share with Anthony’s family in the coming days.

How did Anthony Died ?

Many worried people, especially those close to the family, are curious as to how Anthony‘s life came to an end. As of right now, we are unable to confirm or disclose Anthony‘s cause of death because the family has not yet issued a statement outlining the details of his demise. However, it seems that there isn’t much that can be learned right now until the family issues a firm statement on the matter. As per usual, as soon as it is verified, we will follow up and update this story.

Anthony Allen Palmer “Tony” Obituary: Tony was born on July 24, 1941 in Pryor, Oklahoma to George Sie and Lexie Mae (Hopper) Palmer. He passed away January 2, 2022 at their home in Pryor, Oklahoma at age 80. He grew up in the Greenbrier community and attended elementary school at Greenbrier. He graduated high school from Strang in 1959. He married Donna Dinsmore on Valentine’s Day in 1996 in Palmer, Alaska.

He served in the United States Army National Guard for several years. Tony and his six brothers, several cousins, and friends had their own softball teams. “Palmer’s” and “Palmer’s Gulf“ which was sponsored by his brother Verl Dale. I’m not sure which they won more of… fights… or ball games. He played for Jim Phillips Ford softball team with his brothers Eddie, Freddie, Orville, and Bobby.

His brother Bobby was also the coach. He also played basketball in high school for the Strang Savages. He lived in several different locations throughout his life, Oklahoma, Arizona, California, and Alaska. Three of his children were born in Alaska, but all five spent time up there during their lives.
